Drake Callender

Drake Callender is a Homegrown Player who has become a rock for Inter Miami as their goalie since its inaugural season. He began training under the San Jose Earthquakes at sixteen, where he spent three years. He then began building his reputation as a goalie in college soccer, playing Division I for U.C. Berkley. He made nine saves in two different games, showing his potential to succeed in the professional leagues. After they bought his Homegrown Player rights, he was signed to Inter Miami in 2019. In 2022, he was a finalist for the Allstate MLS Goalie of the Year award. Inter Miami was his first professional team, but he has proven to be an elite player the team can rely on.
